NOTE: These Terms & Conditions must be read in conjunction with our Return & Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, and Payment Policy, all of which are incorporated by reference.

  1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

    By accessing ebansal.com, browsing our catalogue, placing an order, or accepting delivery of any product from eBansal Furniture (Brand of Bansal Handicraft), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in their entirety.

    If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not proceed with a purchase. These Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the Customer) and eBansal Furniture (Brand of Bansal Handicraft).

  2. NATURE OF PRODUCTS — HANDCRAFTED SOLID WOOD FURNITURE

    2.1 Handcrafted Characteristics

    All eBansal furniture is handcrafted by master artisans using traditional techniques. Our primary material is Sheesham (Indian Rosewood), a premium solid hardwood known for its natural beauty, durability, and unique grain patterns.

    The following are natural, inherent characteristics of handcrafted solid wood furniture and are expressly NOT considered defects:

    • Wood grain patterns, colour tones, knots and texture varying from piece to piece — no two handcrafted pieces are identical.
    • Slight colour variation compared to product photographs (taken under professional studio lighting and may involve digital rendering).
    • Minor tonal shift over time due to natural ageing, oxidation and patina development of solid wood.
    • Slight movement, expansion or contraction of wood due to changes in atmospheric temperature and humidity.
    • Variation in hand-painted details, Kantha stitch, patchwork or applique patterns due to the handcrafted nature.
    • Minor surface texture differences between individual units of the same product.

    2.2 Product Images & Descriptions

    • All product images on ebansal.com are for representational and illustrative purposes only.
    • Accessories, decorative items, and soft furnishings shown in product photographs are NOT included unless explicitly stated.
    • Actual product colour may vary from screen display due to monitor settings and photographic conditions. This is not a defect.
    • Dimensions in product listings are approximate. Variations up to ±2% are normal in handcrafted products.

    2.3 Product Range

    • Beds — Single, Queen & King Size (storage variants, hydraulic, bunk, trundle, platform, poster beds)
    • Sofas & Divans — 1, 2 & 3 seater, L-shape sofas, sofa sets (3+1+1 and 3+2), sofa-cum-beds, divans
    • Dining & Kitchen — Dining sets (2 to 8 seater), dining chairs, bar chairs, bar cabinets, kitchen cabinets
    • Bedroom Furniture — Wardrobes, dressing tables, chest of drawers, bedside tables, TV units
    • Living Room — Sideboards, coffee tables, arm chairs, console tables, bookshelves, shoe racks, temples
    • Study Room — Study desks, study chairs, bookshelves, side tables
    • Outdoor — Balcony chairs, balcony chair & table sets, benches
    • Mattresses — Single (36×78"), Queen (60×78"), King (72×78")

  3. PLACING AN ORDER

    3.1 Order Process

    • By placing an order, the Customer confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and our Return & Refund Policy.
    • Orders are subject to availability of stock.
    • An order confirmation email will be sent upon successful placement.
    • eBansal reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order.

    3.2 Pre-Purchase Customer Responsibility — CRITICAL

    ⚠ Failure to comply with the pre-purchase checks below may result in non-acceptance of return or refund requests.
    • The Customer is solely responsible for measuring entrances, doorways, corridors, staircases, and rooms.
    • No return/refund if furniture cannot fit through entry.
    • Assembly service subject to availability.
    • Carpenter visits scheduled separately after delivery.

  4. PRICING & PAYMENT

    • All prices are in INR and inclusive of GST unless stated.
    • Prices may change without notice.
    • Accepted payments include cards, UPI, net banking.
    • 2.5% Payment Gateway Fee deducted on refunds.
    • eBansal is not responsible for double charges.

  5. DELIVERY, SHIPPING & INSTALLATION

    5.1 Delivery Timelines

    • Dispatch within promised timeframe.
    • Remote areas may take longer.
    • Free shipping across India.

    5.2 Force Majeure & Delivery Delays

    • No liability for delays due to external factors.
    • Efforts made to expedite delivery.
    • Customers should monitor tracking.

    5.3 Delivery & Inspection

    • Customer must be present at delivery.
    • Inspect for damage before signing.
    • Report visible damage immediately.
    • Claims within 7 days only.
    • Unboxing video mandatory.

    5.4 Installation & Assembly

    • Assembly scheduled after delivery.
    • Customer must ensure space.
    • Only eBansal assembly covered under warranty.
    • Minor unevenness acceptable.

  6. WARRANTY POLICY

    6.1 Manufacturing Warranty

    • 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects.
    • Covers structural defects.
    • Invoice required.
    • Submit claims via email.

    6.2 Termite & Infestation Warranty

    • Lifetime termite warranty.
    • Evidence required.
    • Inspection may be conducted.
    • Pickup arranged.
    • Not valid for closed homes.

    6.3 Warranty Exclusions

    • Misuse or damage.
    • Water/sun damage.
    • Wear & tear.
    • Self-assembly damage.
    • Modifications.
    • Natural wood variations.
    • Commercial use.
    • Closed property termite damage.

  7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

    • All website content is owned by eBansal.
    • Unauthorized use prohibited.
    • No commercial use without permission.

  8. PRIVACY & DATA

    • Data used for order processing only.
    • No selling of customer data.
    • Bank details used only for refunds.
    • Refer to Privacy Policy.

  9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

    • Liability limited to purchase amount.
    • No indirect damages covered.
    • Not responsible for courier issues.
    • Consumer rights protected.

  10. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

    • Governed by Indian law.
    • 30-day resolution period.
    • Jurisdiction: Rajasthan courts.
    • Consumer rights applicable.
    • Can approach NCDRC.

  11. AMENDMENTS & UPDATES

    • Terms may be updated anytime.
    • Latest version always online.
    • Usage implies acceptance.
    • Review periodically.
